CORA Town Hall #3 (Sat, Mar 20, 2021): The Tale of 27 Boats

This third meeting in the CORA town hall series is all about the development of OC1s (solo outrigger canoes), and the merits of the range of OC1s presently on the market. Canadian paddler Bob Stewart, who paddles out of Vancouver BC and Maui Hawaii, will join the CORA board and describe his colourful history with OC1s, of which he’s owned and paddled more than any cold-water Canadian we know of. Bob and CORA board directors will review the recent historical development of solo outriggers, from initial designs 30 years ago to the current breed of carbon / computer-aided-design constructed boats that have swept the paddling world.
