World Sprints 2018 – Team Canada

Kelowna Training Camp for Team Canada

Good luck to the members of Team Canada competing at the 2018 World Sprint Championships in Tahiti. Time to Lock, Load and Launch !

Competition takes place July 19-26. The first 2 days are the Elite Worlds. Countries are allowed 1 entry per elite category and we have an Open crew for men and women for the V6 events. The World Club Championships follow for the next 6 days. Canada has entries in Open through to the 70’s age categories in women’s and men’s. Once again, our kupuna paddlers look strong to bring home some medals. Big thanks to Leanne Stanley for her coaching leading up to the event and of course wishing her the best in her V1 event against the best female paddlers in the world.
Check the CORA Facebook page for pictures and updates from Tahiti. We’re fortunate to have Paul Kendall on the team so expect some great pictures of the action.
