Now Available: Open Women V6 Berth to Race in Singapore

Would your Open Women’s V6 crew like to represent Canada at the 2026 IVF World Outrigger Sprint Championships in Singapore this August? Due to a withdrawal, a berth has become available for an Open Women’s crew.

Please email Sherry@canadianoutrigger.ca by Friday, February 13th to apply using the specifications below:

• ONE team captain contacts Sherry.
• Please indicate the following information for each crew member:
• Full Name, Club Affiliation, Year of Birth, Email Address, Phone Number
• Please provide some history of your racing experience as a crew or as individual athletes (500 words or less)

The selection outcomes are at the discretion of the High Performance Committee. If more paddlers/crews apply than there are spots, the High Performance Committee may ask for a race-off or further details.

  • Once paddlers/crews are selected to join Team Canada then paddlers will be invoiced for fees. Note that the fees to CORA will be around $500 per paddler. 2026 CORA memberships are mandatory. Uniforms, flights and accommodations are among additional costs of attending the event.
