Victoria’s annual 2-buoy turn, 1500m sprint race, Kan-U-Hakit, Sunday 5 March. This race is for OC6 teams with stamina and steering experience who want to test their mettle against local and visiting teams at this spectator-friendly event. Boats, tents and heaters supplied by FGPC for registered teams, along with plenty of draw prizes and snacks. This event advances teams through qualifiers, semi-finals and final races (for top teams), so 3 races over the day for teams who advance to the finals. CLICK HERE for more info

The Pacific Northwest Outrigger Racing Canoe Association Small Boat Race (Winter Series Race #2) is being hosted by the Jericho Paddling Club on Saturday, February 4th, 2023.

The race starts at 10 am. OC1, OC2, Surfski, SUP and Prone paddlers are welcome to compete in either the long course (10km-12km) or the short course (5km-6km).

Much like a WaveChaser Race, there will be a slightly staggered mass start beginning on Jericho Beach.

Join us in the JSCA clubhouse after the race for a hot drink, snacks, awards and draw prizes.

CORA membership (annual or day pass) is required.

    NOTE: At its November 19, 2022 Pre-AGM Board Meeting, the CORA Board passed a requirement that all CORA Member Clubs, in order to be in ‘good standing’ for a calendar year, must by June 30 of that year, pay its CORA Member Club Annual Membership fee AND have at least 6 Individual (Adult or Junior) Annual CORA Members who are affiliated with that CORA Member Club.
